Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Remove and check cartridge

My HP PSC 2310 printer was working fine and has relatively new cartridges in it (they couldn't be empty yet and the ink flows freely from the printing points) but has suddenly gotten stuck asking me to remove and check cartridges. I have done this several times, cleaned them and replaced them and it just keeps displaying the same error message.

It won't do anything other than this. Please help.

Thank you.

If you already changed the cartridges for new ones, there should be a problem with the printer's carriage.
You need to take it to a repair store, but I advice you to buy a new one, because the price you will pay for the repair should be the same or more than what you pay for a new printer.

Check and remove ink cartridge

Are you using refilled cartridges? If you are this could be your issue. New cartridges have a chip in them that allow the printer to know when the cartridge is empty, when you refill the cartridge there is no way to reset the chip and can cause this problem when using refilled cartridges.

How to install ink cartidge? hp psc 750

1. Allow your injet printer to run entirely out of ink. Unless the quality of your images is suffering, there is no problem with letting your ink run low.
2. Open the printer door. It should fold from the top down toward the tray. When it is open, it should expose the inner workings of the printer.
3. Press the change cartridge button. It is at the top of the printer next to the power button.
4. Pull on the green top of the inkjet ink cartridge and remove it up and out of its holder. Do this gently so the printer is not damaged in the process.
5. Recycle the empty inkjet cartridge or have it refilled at an ink refilling center.
6. Carefully remove the tape from the refilled or new inkjet ink cartridge and insert the cartridge in the same orientation as the one you removed.
7. Push on the green top until the cartridge snaps into place, press the cartridge change button and close the printer door.

Remove and check cartridge in right stall help

Make sure that they are new cartridges.
Also make sure, that you took off the strip off where the ink come out.

Then shut if off, wait 15 min, then turn back on.

Good Luck

Remove and check cartridge

I would say you're better off buying a new printer, especially if it's an older one. If it's still newer, see if it's under warranty (less than a year). If you just bought it within 90 days, usually you can return it to the store where you bought it and get it exchanged. Sounds defective to me.

Check ink cartridge

Your ink cartridges could be dried up or empty, even if they are new.

The light will stay on if the cartridge is not inserted correctly, check if it is in correct if you still have the problem remove both cartridges and insert the both of them back the same time.

Remove and check color cartridge

I cleaned mine with alcohol and Q-tip and then shook it 25 times to insure that the ink was penetrating the application lines. My hunch is it first got dirty, and then dried up on the exterior prevent additional ink from leaving the cartridge.

Cradle jam after inserting ink cartridge, wont align

May-15-2008
in a HP-PSC-1210, replaced empty HP56 black-inkjet cartridge.
Afterward, printer gave error message AND unable to "dismount" the cartridge.
Finally discovered that an HP57 color-inkjet cartridge had accidentally been mounted/installed. A handyman relative was able to dismount the (wrong) cartridge.

Cradle did not actually jam, though printer would not print.

The "E" means a cartridge problem.

Have you recently changed them?

If so, did yo use "refills" or another non-HP cartridges?
