I have a emerson tv that is only 10 months old and my husband tripped over the cable wire, the ant in on the back of the tv broke off (where you hook the cable wire). I looked inside of the tv and I have the piece and the little wire portion off it that broke off where it soders in to the tv. Could I soder the piece back together and back into place or is there a replacement part I could order.
I have the same EWF2006 Emerson Television with the ANT IN cable connector broken, but the whole board inside is cracked. I will need to replace that whole peice, but I don't know what name to find or order it under

Heychuck68102, my name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and I was going over yourpost and I see where you want to connect a cable wire plus you're satellite. Ifyou have a TV that will allow for a RCA connection you can run the RCA cable tothe top red, white and yellow inputs and run the antenna directly to theTV/Antenna IN. Then you will be able to connect the cable to the TV CH ¾ input.I will send a link to help with these steps, http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/how-to-set-up.
Make sure you have an ant. connected to the ant. INPUT on the>> 110 box <<then take a cable from the OUTPUT of >>110 box<< and connect it to the >> INPUT<< on your TV.
If you connect box to TV with a cable wire then put TV on channel 3 or 4
If you connect BOX to TV with the
Yellow red and white wires then put TV on VIDEO rather than channel 3 or 4 !
Auto program Digital Converter Box to receive channels...must have an ANTENAE connected to converter box!!!
ANT. passthrough for an ant. connected to your 625 receiver will only work on tv 1. The only way to do this is to RF modulate your tv 2 coax to an RCA and hook the RcA cable to your tv2. then use another ant. to connect coax allowing you to pick up dish programing on an input and then going to the channels to enjoy local over the air programming.
Hi trishallan! I will be more than glad to assist you in this concern.. On the back of your Sansui STB-HD01 (Set top box) there is an input name - ANT In- Attached an external antenna to this terminal. If your LCD TV is an HDTV you can use the HD-YPbPr (you will see there Red, Green, Blue) on the back of the Sansui-STB-HD01, The cable that your going to use is the component cable - the color is Red, Green, Blue) - connect the 1st end to the back of the sansui-set top box and the other end is going to your LCD-TV. If your LCD TV is not and HDTV you cand use the other terminal which is on the right side of the HD-YPbPr, the SD-YPbPr, you can use the same cable - the Red, Green, Blue, .. then there is s display switch-Set this switch in conjunction with MODE switch according to your TV display capability.and there is a mode select- Set this switch in conjunction with DISPLAY switch according to your TV display capability, then u need to tune in the tv to compionent channel, use the LCDtv remote to cycle the input of your tv.
if you have any query please feel free to get in touch..
Hi! I believe you have some concern on how to get good picture on your hd tv. I will be more than glad to assist u.. on your teac hdb841- there is a port connection - ant in, you have to connect the ant cable from your off the air tv antena to the ANT IN of the Teac HDB841. then on the back of your Teac HDB841, you have several output connection there like component, coax, s-video, rca and hdmi. since u have the hdtv u need to use the hdmi or the component cable whiich is the red blue and green then access the menu of the teac hdb841 and do a scan for the local channels.. ur tv should tune in to hdmi if u use hdmi cable or component if u use the red blue and green.. i hope this will fix the problem..
connect dvd input cable (three banana plugs red, white, and yellow) to the video and audio output on a vcr, then take a screw on cable from the Ant. to the vcr. you will have to tune the vcr to the programs channel to record the picture. The vcr manual should tell you where the signal will be going, The picture should also go to the tv on ch 3 or 4 as when you play a vcr tape.
Is your DVD player a DVD/VCR combo? If so, hook the "tv out" (sometimes called "ant out" ) to the "ant in" on the DVD/VCR, then hook the "ant out" of the DVD/VCR to the "ant in" on the tv. Then make sure the DVD/VCR and TV are on the appropriate channel (3 or 4).
If it's NOT a combo, or these instructions don't work for you, i will need pictures of the inputs/outputs of the devices.
