I have a emerson tv that is only 10 months old and my husband tripped over the cable wire, the ant in on the back of the tv broke off (where you hook the cable wire). I looked inside of the tv and I have the piece and the little wire portion off it that broke off where it soders in to the tv. Could I soder the piece back together and back into place or is there a replacement part I could order.
I have the same EWF2006 Emerson Television with the ANT IN cable connector broken, but the whole board inside is cracked. I will need to replace that whole peice, but I don't know what name to find or order it under

Locate the TV's VHF IN [ANT, CATV, or 75(ohm)] or Cable Connector. Disconnect the existing cable wire from the TV's VHF IN. Connect the short, thick wire from the RF Switch (labeled ANT) to your TV's VHF IN. Reconnect the existing cable wire (disconnected in step 2) to the silver post labeled ANT on the RF switch. Connect the thin wire of the RF Switch (labeled Control Deck) to the back of the NES (labled RF Out). On the back of the NES, set the 3/4 switch so that it matches the channel of the TV. Note: The RF Switch does not produce stereo sound. To get stereo sound, connect your Control Deck to your TV or VCR using the Stereo Audio/Video Cable.
After the system is connected to the TV:
Insert the Game Pak firmly into the Control Deck. Plug the controller(s) into the front of the Control Deck. Use the far left port for a one player game. Plug the AC Adapter into the back of the Control Deck. Plug the other end of the cord into a wall outlet. Press the Power button on the front of the Control Deck. Turn on the TV and set it to the appropriate channel (3 or 4.) The game image should now be displayed on the TV screen. If after following these directions you are not able to view the game (for instance, if the red power light flashes off and on), try our Troubleshooting Tips.

Yes it can be replace only if it just a connector adapter connected independently unto tv tuner. But if it is with the tv tuner as a whole. You will replace the entire tv tuner. Just bring the part as reference to your favorite electronic store selling tv parts.
Offhand, the easiest connection method would be to use a short RF patchcord to connect the RF out of the DVD/VCR to the ANT/CABLE/RF IN of the TV. Set the TV to Channel 3. To continue able to receive ant/cable channels, the cable input should go to the ANT/CABLE/RF IN of the VCR/DVD.
Pls post back result(s). Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
The easiest way to connect the unit is via coax. You can come out of your satellite receiver via the "Out to TV" on the back of the receiver to the "In from Ant" on your DVD/VCR combo. You can then connect another coax from the "Out to TV" on the DVD/VCR combo to the "Ant/Cable" input on the back of you TV. Make sure the satellite receiver and the vcr are both modulated to the same channel, normally channel 3.
ANGLS186-YES YOU CAN RESOLDER THE ANT. IN COAX CONECTION BUT KNOW YOU MUST FIRST SOLDER THE CENTER WIRE OF COAX TO TUNER BD. THEN CAREFULLY INSERT COAX BACK INTO ORIGINAL POSITION.THE EASIER SOLUTION IS TO USE A VCR OR CABLE BOX HOOKED TO YOUR SETS' VIDEO IN PORT AND CHANGE CANNELS W.THAT COMPONENT.JOE TV
