Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP 7410 all in one-will not copy displaying warming

The printer is working, but I cannot copy anymore. I read on this site to disconnect the wireless card inside the back panel. I did that and did a full reset and now when I press any button it just beep beep beep's. It even does that when you hit cancel. No display at this time on the LCD. I want to see if the disconnect helped the problem, but now I have a new one. I would appreciate any help.

The display came back on and continues to print ok, but will not copy. Continues to say warming up when you try to copy. I read somewhere that we might have to change some board. We did not wany to put any money into it if we didnt know we could even get it working so we bought a new all in one by Brother. I own 3 HP laptops and the HP printers and have had many problems and their customer service is poor. Thank you for your help and your great site.

Printer turns on but light doesnt stay and does ot respond to the pushing of any buttons so none of the applications are working...taxing, copying, scanning priniting. The window has the hp logo lit up...

sorry to hear that your machine is having a problem, you might want to check to see if the wireless function is on, if so turn off, if you can, if your handy, you might want to try disconnecting the wireless function from the main pcb. its a little tricky, would require you to get the back off the machine, and unplug correct cable. if you don't want to do that, hopefully you can find someone who can.

HP 7410 will not boot. It powers up and the HP logo screen flashe

This was solved really well on this blog. It is some problem with the wifi board. If you disconnect it (no so hard and well explained on the blog) you will have network printing over a cable but no wireless.

Displays " Scanner Failure"

I've seen a similar issue on other HP All-In-Ones. I had to contact support, but all they do is make sure you try connecting the printer to the wall outlet instead of a surge supressor, then a different wall outlet, then reset to factory defaults. After that didn't work, they submitted an replacement order.

Hope this helps

HP 7410 All in One

Try this: it's worked for nearly everone who's tried it. Unfortunantly, you lose your wireless capabilities, but at leat you're not left with a $500 paper weight:

(It's interesting that with the exception of the original post, this issue is suddendly appearing on numerous sites. Nearly all of the posts occured during the last two months)
