Question about Saeco Royal Digital Plus Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine
What process is used to clean the Saeco Royal coffee machine. Is there any way to backwash/flush and chemically cleanse the unit? Coffe just doesn't taste as it used to, but it's the same roast, same machine, and all appears to be working
When you clean the brewing unit wash it with hot water, do not
use any solvent.
Make sure there are no coffee residues on the two steel filters: the upper filter can be removed by unloosening and turning the plastic pin anticlockwise using the tool supplied.
Dry thoroughly each central unit component, fit the filter again and tighten it properly with the screw .
To do a descaling:
Saeco descaler is recommended; however, you can use any non-toxic and/or non-harmful descaling product for coffee machines, commonly available in retail stores. The used solution is to be disposed of according to the manufacturer’s
instructions and/or regulations in force in the country of use.
Never use vinegar!
