There is no ringing tone on my corded telephone?

Look around on the base (where you set the phone when not in use) look for a volume or mute button, maybe youve accidentally muted it or turned down the volume, also look on the phone itself, for the same buttons, if neither of these things work, its possible the wiring on the inside of the phone is faulty, could also be a faulty speaker/ringer. If this is the case, i suggest buy a new phone

Have purchased this producct plugged it in no ringtone no flashing to indicate incoming call have operational line with dialing tone, help please asap as only line into work

I am assuming that you can hear dial tone on the handset, and you can make calls on the phone. If this is correct, then I would recommend contacting BT and getting the phone replaced with one that works. http://www.bt.com/help/home/landline.html

When using the phone we have no dialing tone at all, but you can still dial out , no ringing tone however when the phone is answered you cannot hear the other person

First, plug the phone into another known working jack to see if it is the phone or the jack. If it still does not work in the new jack then replace the cord. It that does not work then it is your phone. If you only have the one jack, take it to a neighbors to verify if it works or not. If none of that works then it is the phone itself.

I can only find one ringtone! i'v just bought a bt paragon 550 and i can only find one ring tone' which i hate. i cannot find any other choices

You can use any ringtone you like, but you must use the same format as the phone uses. You can change the ringtone to the format you need with your computer's save feature. Go to iTunes and select a tune you like, download it.

Ring tones on KX-T7433

Wow, this is your lucky day :-)

From each phone, press PROGRAM 99 and the INTERCOM or CO buttons TWICE, then dial 1-8 and STORE. (default is 2). You can now make each line and intercom different, or each phone (up to 8) different. After you finish with each phone, just pick up and drop the handset back into the cradle to end programming.

The feature is called Ringing Tone Selection.

Uniden cordless phone

Hello, While I cannot locate that model in any Uniden database (you might want to find the literature), It sounds as if the handset may be communicating with its base, but you have lost the dial tone. Did any storms pass through recently? Here is what you do. Go to your base and push the locator button on your base station to call the handset via the page/locator function. If it rings the handset and you can answer it okay then you know your handset is working well and communicating with your base (the radio portion is working correctly). If it does not ring your handset then your Uniden is definately bad (radio wise). But, I am going to guess that it is okay but you still cannot communicate with the outside world and dial out to get dial tone or get an incoming call. Okay, so we have a dial tone problem. The next step is to see if dial tone is getting to your base. So you will need to take another good telephone, preferably a handy "line powered" telephone (no batteries or ac adapter needed) you can use in a power failure emergency. Take that good phone and plug it into the phone cord you unplug from your Uniden base. If you get dial tone, then your uniden does need repair. If it does not get dial tone, then you have a bad cord, jack or something in your phone wiring. If thats the case, change cords, look for corrosion, dirt or bent pins in the jack on the wall. My guess is that your Uniden has gone bad, likely from a slight surge on the phone line. If you do need your Uniden repaired you can contact Uniden they are at http://www.uniden.com/repair/service.cfm , however I don't believe they offer repair, but offer to sell you a replacement. Or you can go to www.cordlessrepair.com where you can get your Uniden Cordless unit repaired, not exchanged. Good Luck, CG
