Hi,

wow. you know, a virus or trojan program is running to your USB and that program will install to your PC. when you double click it and in continous pressing of enter tab. it will multiple thier numbers.

first thing you do is scan your USB before you open your save files inside. and the safest way to do and you have a continous update of your anti-virus. becuase the main transforter of Virus and Trojan is a USB storage.

hope this can help you.

God Bless

adding to what i said, in your CMOS /BIOS setup make that your USB is Enabled.

you can go to BIOS setup by pressing F2 or Delete Tabs in booting your system.

My memerysticks stop working when i put in i cannot see my my home work on screen

Follow the steps given below to refresh USB ports.

1. Right-click My Computer icon on the desktop, and then select Properties.
2. Click the Hardware tab.
3. Click the Device Manager button.
4. Click the plus (+) sign to the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers.
5. Right-click the device listed under Universal Serial Bus controller and select Uninstall.
6. Click OK to confirm the removal of the device.

Please note, repeat Steps 5 and 6 until all the devices under Universal Serial Bus Controller are removed.

7. Shut down the computer.

CAUTION: Ensure that the Shut Down option is selected, instead of the Restart option.

8. Wait for 5 seconds and then restart the computer. When the computer restarts, a "Windows has detected new or added hardware" message window will open.

The above steps will refresh the USB ports.

Now connect the USB devices like mouse, video camera, your external usb hard disk...usb hubs...whatever you like and the drivers should install automatically.

Tip: It is always recommended to connect the main usb devices at the rear end usb port, as they require more power to initiate.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Greetings....

Please try to check if your USB port both rear and front USB port are not defective. Most common problem of defective usb ports are when plug your usb devices it won't recognize the device you inserted. So to make sure that your USB Ports are not the main cause why your computer won't recognize devices you inserted.

My volume has stopped working its sayn no device

try unistalling the device from device manager, then reinstalling the drivers from hp. if your sound card is not built into the motherboard, then try to remove it and then put it back in firmly (with the computer turn off of course). if this does not help, a new sound card can be had for cheap from tigerdirect.com

Usb 2.0 10 GB Flash drive hard drive not being found

What kind of flash drive and computer are u working with? Let me know and I may be able to give u a more accurate answer. Try inserting another device in that USB port and check to see if ur computer is recognizing it in your device manager. Click on Start Tab then Go To Settings , Control Panel Then Click on System Icon , Then Click on the Hardware Tab and Click on Device Manager, scroll down to see if there are any yellow question marks or flags? Leave that Device manager window open and try to re insert your flash drive again and see what response u get?

Again go to my computer, to find properties/hardware/device- highlight the drive, right click and refresh or scan for hardware changes.
If its found your device works properly if not found please check when is your drive’s gate open to push the open button?
