I bumped and broke the LCD panel of my Olevia 256T TV. It has a spider web type fracture where it was struct. how do I get it repaired? I called the manufacturer, and they want almost what I paid originally to send it back for them to repair.

Replaced buy another tv.This tv can't be repair,if damages or broken to the LCD screen panel,only can be replacing a whole new LCD screen panel,will cost the same as a new tv.Damage tv tries take it aparts and savalges save parts for the same tv and model u going to buy.
Cost same as a new tv,to replaced the LCD screen.There are hundred or more sell for parts because Broken LCD screen sell in Ebay.com.The TVS industries well not sell out LCD Screen cheap or resonable price.
Typically when the picture on an LCD or plasma begins to look screwy or like a spider web.. its gone for good and needs to be replaced.
You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new tv. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD.
