How do I get my money back?

You cannot have 2 applications running on web cams. Exit the program you are running the web cam unplug it and then plug it back in and restart yahoo.

Yahoo has prevented us from having 2 Instant Messaging capable programs open and active at the same time.
For example, Yahoo Messenger with Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Web messenger, your mobile phone, Ipod, or other computers etc. etc.
Yahoo classifies all these programs as "Different devices or locations". Navigating from one to the other will close one program and you may get the notification message you refer to.
OR someone has hacked into your account- Report to Yahoo and Try to Recover it-Send report Politely and concisely.Do not try to Send More report for Same cause..

i think you must install the web cam drivers again. it will solve your problem.

i have a gateway fx gameing laptop!! i was having probs with the cam going dark on me after a bit while using yahoo messenger..it was also freezing up but that i found out was cause yahoo SUCKS **** LOL...
i downloaded msn messenger, not msn live, and the cam works fine.. so it is yahoo.. i do know that sometimes my cam will sometimes go darker in resolution if i bend the top down a bit.. its doing that because the cam is thinking that im turning it off by shutting the laptop!
does the web cam work with the software it came with? can u turn it on and see urself when NOT using a messenger? if so then it might just not want to work with those 2 messengers which is weird!!!!!
MAKE SURE THAT U DO NOT HAVE THE PROGRAM SOFTWARE on that came with the laptop at the same time as trying to use it with the messengers!! see if that works and ill check back with you!

laptops did not come with the high end state of the art web cams! they were made for ease not for exceptional quality!

Try using an updated software driver for your model.

you are encounetring some technical problem of your messenger need to reinstall. please go to control panel, choose add remove program, look for the yahoo messenger icon.. remove and re install you can dowload it for free to his own website..

i suggest to uninstall the yahoo messenger and uninstall the web cam driver and then follow this 1. after you uninstall the yahoo messenger and web cam driver. Reinstall first the webcam driver and then the yahoo messenger. this should fix the problem.

I bought an LGE50 (E500) notebook 4 months ago and 2 days ago I finally got around to trying out the camera (SmartCam) only to find that it didn't work. It has the original Vista OS that it came with and I've installed MS Office 2007. I tried pressing the Fn and F10 keys simultaneously and also putting it in sleep mode and logging in again but both without success. Yesterday I rang LG service and they told me to: shut down, remove battery, wait 1 minute, plug in power supply only (not battery), turn on, enter into the bios settings upon boot up, select "default" settings, continue boot up then shut down, install battery and boot up in the normal manner. Hey presto! I have SmartCam working!

Every time I try to sgn in, yahoo shuts down. I tried to unistall and reinstall it several times, it just does not work. i uninstall and reinstall windows but it does not work yet Can you help me, please?
