Question about Ovens
I posted a question yesterday about a smeg oven not working and the response that came back was either:
1. Is there any way that i could check which part was faulty
2. If i had to replace the thermostat element - is there somewhere that i could look up on how to do this
3. Do you know where the best place to buy the parts is
Thanks for your help
Most likely is the element - easiest way to check is with a multimeter
another way but be carefull, is to connect the element direct to mains and see if it heats
to check the thermostat, just link across the terminals
