Asus maximus iv gene z error code 45

A Windows Error code 45 will display or populate a error message that looks similar to the following:
Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
The device is not present or was previously attached to the computer. If Device Manager is started with the environment variable DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES set to 1 (which means show these devices), any previously attached (NONPRESENT) devices are displayed in the device list and assigned this error code.
What is the solution for this then?
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.
No other resolution is necessary.

Visit also asus, and look for any driver updates for the mainboard:

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

if its a 40 pin flat ribbon type it will be the first to fail

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems

computers need all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

hope this helps

I installed new mother board M2N68-AM Plus. Unfortunately, the it won't turn on.

Hi there! Welcome to FixYa!
For you to further isolate the problem, you may need to follow the following steps.

First, check your power switch header if it matched the cables on the motherboard. check also the power cable for both ATX power (20 or 24 pin) and CPU power if they are firmly attached.
Second, run your system on a minimal hardware (power, processor and memory only) you need to remove Video Cards or other add-in cards if you have any and just run the system using onboard video (VGA)

If all else fail, then check individual hardware. (no need to check this if you are sure that they are working, but for the sake of isolation then you must.)
(1) Isolate the motherboard Check if it will work using other power supply (2) Isolate the power supply.
Check if it will work using other computer's motherboard (3) Isolate memory
If you are using 2 or more sticks or RAM, then try them one at a time. If all else fail then you may need to contact the vendor for possible RMA.

Please tell me if this was useful and if it wasn't I will be more than happy to assist you further. If you would like to know where to purchase a motherboard with specific abilities (EG; specific socket, memory and PCI/PCIE/AGP) please tell me what model of computer you are using and what your price range is and I will try to help to the best of my abilities.

AC post broke

Dear Bruce;
Unfortunately the computer industry is a little bit better than the automotive industry. I thank God that I am not a automobile mechanic and I have seen some very smart and well accomplished mechanics. The mother board is not made to be repaired for the desktops and more so for the Laptops. Now, you seem to be a reasonable man and my reasonable thinking is that you throw nothing away as long as you can keep them working. How do you know if the next new equipment you buy will not be a lemon. So, you have examined the male pin for recharging, you already have found that the damage is not that much, it will not fall out within some time. We are lucky that the voltage that point is not that much. I would say give another visual and if you are satisfied, fix it and see how much life you can get out of it. Always keep an active back up of the unit, just in case, even though data loss happens when the program is in the RAM memories. Fix it up and be proud of your accomplishment. If there are funds available, figure a time that it would be wise to have a reserve. Run your computer until the battery burns up or the "wheels fall off". May the Lord bless you! My name is Constantin (arzconst is my internal nickname with the Fixya.com).

A motherboard is the central or primary printed circuit board (PCB) making up a complex electronic system, such as a modern computer or laptop. It is also known as a main board, baseboard, system board, planar board.

he motherboard of a typical desktop consists of a large printed circuit board. It holds electronic components and interconnects, as well as physical connectors (sockets, slots, and headers) into which other computer components may be inserted or attached.

What are requirements for motherboard reparing

Hi,

Putting up a computer hardware repair business is of course very viable and to a certain extent professionally and personally rewarding. There are however a few considerations that you have to keep in mind:
1. Cost of repair may be too high for some clients who would probably opt for a replacement of the hardware. This is already a loss since not only did you loose the prospective client, you have spend already considerable time, effort and technical expertise just to diagnose the nature of the problem and determine corrective measures;
2. Market saturation, at some point in time replacement versus repair would swing towards replacement since hardware prices tend to come down every few mo0nths or so;
3. A good number of your key personnel, technicians or staff would often be doing similar technical work in their own homes either for personal favors or as a 2nd job. These are c=to be considered loss business for your company. Eventually they would be enterprising enough to establish a similar business and within the same market circle/area effectively making them a competitor. You have just trained and help establish a competitor;
4. keeping up with technology would be time-consuming and expensive;
5. Hardware repair would require extensive inventory of known components that fail easily such as capacitors of motherboard, CCFLamps of LCD displays and others. In addition, the business should have spares of everything inside a computer and devices. Examples are belt for CD/DVD drives, fans of varying sizes & fitting styles, hardware manuals, EPROM flasher/programmer, PCI POST test devices, ISA devices, PCI devices, IDE & SATA cables, and a litany of many many other more. The inventory would normally increase since as earlier stated, technology moves up after a couple of months.
6. An aggressive and wide coverage marketing strategy;
7. Several suppliers of new parts/components as well as refurbished, surplus, reconditioned devices, items or units;
8. Warranty/Guarantee issue;
9. Training of personnel/staff;
10. Supervision of personnel/staff;
11. Turn-over of personnel/staff;
12. transport and warehousing; and
13. local rules and regulations as well as government permits, licenses and restrictions.

The above are just a few. Currently, I operate and manage 3 computer hardware repair shops plus a consumer electronics repair shop.

Hope that this give you some idea/help. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional inputs.

Good luck and kind regards.
