It want switch on

My Compaq Armada 110 does the same thing from time to time. Most of the time, the best way to have it power back on:

Unplug it. Pull the battery out. Plug it back in without the battery. if you get a light flashing to the left of the top section above the keyboard, you're set. put the battery back in and power it on. if still no flashing light then next:
unplug the unit, pull the battery, flip the unit upsidedown and open the panel with the two screws to the right. reseat the memory modules in the sockets there. then reassemble, the plug the unit in without the battery. if you see the light, then put the battery back in and you're set. power it on.

if it still doesn't power on, i've got other suggestions but these are the main things I have to do to get mine working. :)
