I think i have same sort of problem, picture is blurred or 'ghosting effect' and when i change to either 720px50 or 1080ix50 jump to 720px60 or 1080ix60, which then gives a blurred picture..

It could be the cache that's causing it but, I'm betting on the disk itself has gone bad on you, had the same issue my copy would load them freeze even after clearing the xbox360 cache. Here's how to clear the cache.

The Xbox 360 system cache stores such items as game updates, system update installation packages, and gamer pictures of your friends. You can often resolve issues with your Xbox 360 by clearing the system cache.

The following are not removed when you clear the Xbox 360 cache:

  • Your gamertag
  • Content that you have downloaded
  • Game files
  • Console software updates.

Clearing the cache removes previously downloaded game updates. You must download these updates again the next time you play the game.
To clear the system cache

  1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and selectSystem Settings.
  2. Select Storage or Memory.

  1. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

Try clearing the cache on your Xbox console:

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/settings-and-initial-setup/clear-system-cache

If the game is installed on the hard drive try uninstalling it and running it from the disc

If the issue persists contact Microsoft about hardware repair.

Picture breaking up

Please try the following:

http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/11131/Xbox-360-Cache-Clear-Code-Revealed/

I think I remember people saying they had that problem, and it was caused by an update to the game. This method should not delete any save games, key word SHOULD NOT.

Good luck, guys!
