I don't know if it work for everybody, but, I took out three of the batteries, then unplugged the radio and plugged it back in. That just left the bottom light blinking, I then pressed the power button on and back off. I had to reset time and date, but it got rid of the flashing lights.

I had the same problem...I removed the clock from the power source and took out all the batteries. I then put them all back in and plugged it back up. The lights stopped flashing! I did have to reprogram the date and time but all the county codes and defeated siren preferences were saved! Definately worth it.

You will need to reset the Clock/Radio's microprocessor. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio and remove the internal battery (CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio set without any power source for at least 2 hours. Then put the internal battery back in the Clock/Radio and plug it in to the a/c outlet. Test to see if the Clock/Radio functions have returned to normal. If the function have not returned to normal, you will need to replace the internal battery. Then let the Clock/Radio again set with out power for a period of at least 2 hours. after a 2 hour period, put the new battery in the Clock/Radio and Plug it into the a/c outlet. Test the functions to see if the microprocessor has reset to normal operation. If you are still having a problem with the Clock/Radio's operations , you will have to give the Emerson customer support a call. The Telephone number for the Customer support is 1-800-898-9020.
