Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z40 Digital Camera
During daytime shooting, the photos look like white washed with flash andwithout flash photos are a bit whiter with horizontal lines in it. Even the photos on PC shows the same result. But photos taken during night with flash are quite alright with none of these problems. Shooting with the card or without one gives the same result. I have tried evereything with the setting but could not get this problem correct. Can you suggest any solutions?
If ever you haven't tried resetting the camera, please try it first. It's possible that you or somebody using the camera may have set something on the camera's setting to have this result ( this is based on my own experience :D ).
Anyway, here's how you reset your camera:
This will basically set the camera to default settings. If there is no hardware problem with the camera, this will correct the problem. However, if the problem persist after the reset , you may want to bring the camera in a service center for repair.
I hope that helps.
Good luck and have a nice day!

Tips for a great answer:
You might have a problem with the sensor; Maybe you can test it; try taking photos in brightly to see if it have the same problem. (or using the flash; I suppose taking videos will not have any issues?)
