I don't know about getting to the headphone jack but there is a little screw underneath the flap which covers the USB port and the power plug. Try unscrewing that and having a look. Tim

The head phone jack is causing crackles and static noise and not a clear reception. I move the earbud jack around to get the right sound. Is there a way to permanently fix the headphone jack port?

It is very possible that the problem lies with your headphones and not the player. Have you tried to use a different set of headphones to see if that fixes the problem?

Is it possible to listen to sony walkman on my home stereo? It didn't come with any cables to make it possible.

You can get head phone to rca jack cabes
Or better yet, go to ebay, look for wireless fm transmitter. They are cheap. I got mine brand new for $1 plus shipping. Now I can hook the transmitter up to my mp3 player and play the sound through any fuzzy radio station and you can listen anywhere. Or get the head phone -to-rca jack plugin from amazon.com

Head phone jack

Flip the Sansa face down with the headphone jack to the left. Take the cover off the battery then remove the 2 screws by the sync port. This frees up the plastic that covers the last screw. But before you can remove this piece you need to lift the 2 black tabs in the middle and slide your nail between the seam between the black and silver areas near the hold button. The rest comes apart easy or the couple I have fixed the headphone jack have.

Head phone jack only plays right side/brad new headphones

Call Philips, get replaced - this is a common problem across all mp3 manufacturers. You can look at the YouTube video on repairing mp3 player headphone jacks, but i doubt it will work without causing more problems with your mp3 player.
