Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Radio problem I have a 1998 chevy tahoe with the stock radio in it. When I strart the truck and turn on the radio the radio comes on but does not have any sound. If I open a door the radio sound will come on and continue to play when I close the door. If I turn off the radio for a few seconds and turn it back on no sound will come out again and I have to open a door for the sound to come on.

The speaker wires are intermittent in the door because of faulty wire and the door opening and closing over time but the other side then must not work or if it comes on also after the door then there is a short to ground in the radio audio out wire in the door

Radio Amp has died. Replace the Radio. The Amp/Pre Amp is built into the radio if this is stock. Buy a new one and install it.
