Question about Canon ES550 8mm Analog Camcorder
How can i record tapes onto my camera? ive thought it out and it hasent quite worked, im not sure if im putting it in the right input cable or not, anyways, please e-mail me at email@example.com with the solution, i wont be checking this alot
OK get a set of cord that can be used, on the back of most VCR's there is RCA Sockets for Video & Audio out... generally Red & White & Yellow these go to the corresponding inputs on the camera's Video & Audio inputs, OR Correct adapter. The camera must have the correct A/V INPUT selected. Then start the VCR to "Play" the tape, and set the Camera to "Record" this will/should then record the output from the VCR to the memory in the Camera.

i know exactly whats wrong! the same thing happend to me.
1. turn off the gl1 2.look at the record button with the lock and standby switch 3.flip the switch all the way to standby because it might be stuck in the middle 4. turn on your camera

To download from the tape (not the memory card) you need a firewire cable, and a computer that has firewire compatibility. Most laptops have this, but desktops may require a firewire card to be installed.
