Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
The batterie died on I needed to replace it. Now I think the alarm kill switch was activated. The problem is that I know it is after market but don't know what brand it is. I also don't have the keyless remote control. Help
Search through the area in the footwell of the drivers side. There will be a very small button. This is a valet/progaming button that is on all aftermarkets. It may be by itself, it may be connected to the brain unit, or it could even be attached to the alarm antenna, which is usually on the windshield. You need to press this button when turning on the car some alarms you need to hold the button down others you just need to press it. This will shut off the alarm until it is reactivated with the key fob.
