Please mention you have upgraded to another version of what?
If it is OS then please download the drivers of the webcam of that version of OS and install.

Driver web cam

Google search "VAIO VGN-FE770G" and "webcam driver" and (Windows version). Then install the driver. Don't be surprised if you have upgraded Windows and now can't find a driver for the upgraded Windows. Laptop manufacturers don't always release new drivers. They prefer to sell new laptops.

I have a logitech webcam but its older and i have a newer computer so everytime i hook it to the usb port the computer tells me it cant detect it so what can i do, upgrade something?

The driver for the camera need to be installed first.Look for the driver in the Logitech web site support and you can download a newer version of the driver which will be better for the web cam.Newer web cam models nowadays are cheaper and has better video and higher megapixels which work even in low light situations,why don't you get one.I got a gigaware which has a mic and a motion detector at a low price.

During a video call i can not see myself on sceen nor can my conatct.

hi there the problem is compatibility against Microsoft Life Cam V X-6000 and version of Windows Live Messenger that you are using if you use a old version of WLM such as 8.5 or 8.1 or etc upgrade to new version ( 14.0.8089.726 it is not new version but it is mos effectively version of WLM and I reccomanded to use it or update the web cameras driver from the Microsoft site Chers!

I have installed my dell web cam drivers, and it tells me to that no supported web cam driver detected, please install the web cam driver and using the dell resource cd and launch web cam center again/...

looks like a compatibility issue. need to know which OS you are running. perhaps you have upgraded your OS from a previous version and that might be the reason why the drivers maybe incompatible.

No web cam found

It may not be detected by windows or the device manager till the correct driver is installed and can initialize the device (Power it Up)

Try Searching Acers website for a Vista version of your driver , and be sure to make sure you pick the correct bit (ie; 32bit drivers will only work with 32bit vista, and 64 with 64)
