I'm going to assume you meant VF0400. Could not find VF0040.

If it is VF0400, here is the support page for it: VF0400 Support

Go to the bottom of the page and change the Operating System to Vista. Click "Submit". You will then be given options to download.

CREATIVE PC-CAM 550 DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 7

Unfortunately, there was never an update past 2003, since it was classified as an "End of Life" product. Having said that, there is a chance that the driver will still work in Windows 7. Here is the site with the driver:
http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=218&subCatID=220&prodID=107&prodName=PC-CAM+550&subCatName=PC-CAM&CatName=Web+Cameras&page=6

Hope this helps.

I have a sony vaio.. just upgraded to windows 7, but now my webcam doesn't work. I tried installing the drives it needs but still no go. What webcam software should i install to get my webcam to work?

your web cam may not be compatible with the Windows operating system and will have to be run in either Windows XP mode or you will have to contact the manufacturers site to update the drivers for your camera. This is done in the device manager. Windows 7 also has a feature that will automatically update the drivers if they are available. If not then you will have to run you camera in the XP or Vista mode.
I hope this helps. Have great day>

Perdi o meu cd de intalacion

Vale, vaner...

My web cam wont work w/vista

Yeah I had same problem with mine, when someone tries viewing it, all they got was a black screen too. Downloading an "Older Version Of Yahoo Messenger" wlll not solve the problem, as being "Older" it would be even more less likely that it would have supported you Webcam back then, let alone now.
Unfortunately, just one of those things. You can either Buy a New Cam that comes with Vista Support, Backup your whole system & format the hard drive & install Windows XP. Or you can just sit back and hope that Support will be added for your Webcam in the near future.
(Although 2 yrs later and I still can't see My OLD Webcam listed as compatible with Vista, so may have a long wait).

Web cam drivers

Hi

If it is a plug n play device, then it will not require any drivers. You can connect it and use it.
However if it requires drivers, then you have to download then from the manufacturer's website.
