first thing i have to say is sansa should not be charging 19.95 for
tech support...we bought it u should support it,this is bs..
anyway while mine(fuze)was froze up i was trying everything, just
happend to try this...hold the on switch pushed all the way up for
about 20-30 sec and mine reset it self..good luck..but also, these
people dont want to answer questions on tech support so u have
to pay 19.95 and thats bs,i have always used sandisk products,
    but not any more...

Maybe you should try a Firmware Update, The update software is at www.sansa.com Also, with mine when I want to turn it off, I some time have to push the power button, (turning the screen on) and the push it again (turing the machine off) As for Tech support, sansa gives free support, all you need to do is call!

you could have accidently changed to external monitor with Fn +F(the number is 8 on my comp but could be 5 on yours-check keys on top of the keyboard it has a picture rectangle / little TV), anyways to check that attach external monitor to your laptop(must have a VGA cable) if you have a picture on external monitor try Fn + F(depends on what you have on ur keyboard) it should bring you a window with choices to choose laptop LCD or external LCD choose 1st one .
hope that is it.

To reset your iPod:

  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

Sansa Clip Player has some problem. I tried 4 sansa clip players (I purchased at Best Buy for Thanksgiving), and none of them work. Dont even try to exchange them, just return them back.

It froze and deleted all of my songs! HELP!

Dear paige1340, I was surfing the web looking for help with my sandisk c140 and I came across this page. I just had a similar experience with my sandisk c140. Im sorry that this isnt a helpful email, but I was wondering if you figured out how to fix that problem. Then only difference between yours and mine is that mine are gone even when I check with it connected to my computer. I tried to format it but it did not change anything. If you have any suggestion that would be great. My email is below. Brice blakerbenn@yahoo.com
