I already took things off that breaker. Can you reset the dishwasher somehow. I donot think it is the load i have had the dishwasher with no additional appliances for 2 years.

mine is doing exactly the same thing, the Normal light and Cancel lights blink. DW is 3 years old and on its own breaker. Manual says nothing, I think it is service call time.

    Timer or selector switch

Although it's uncommon, the timer or the selector switch may be defective. If so, you need to replace the defective part, because neither of these can be repaired.

If the Pots & Pans cycle light is flashing the key pad has a stuck button on it & will need to be replaced in order to get your dishwasher work again .

Can you explain the issue in detail - is your dishwasher not working at all, or the buttons continue to be lit up, etc?

First and foremost, check the dooe switch to see if it is functioning properly.

There is no way to reset the dishwasher apart from completely unplugging it from power source for about an hour. If the issue still persists, then there is most likely an issue with the internal circuitry. A replacement of the keypad control should resolve the issue.

My Kitchenaid dishwasher model KUDS01FLSS6 stopped working. It won't run and the clean light is flashing at me.

you need to clean your dishwasher, leftover soap, food particles, usually cause sensors to be dirty hence it thinks there's some problem with your machine.

The clean light will not stop blinking so the normal cycle will not run

From another link, clean light flashes 7 times. Turn off breaker for dishwasher, wait 5 minutes, turn back on. with dishwasher door open, push high temp, energy save dry, high temp, energy save dry, then close door, open door, press cancel and then Normal wash cycle. Dishwasher Starts!!!!!! Save myself several hundred $. Was about to buy new one from Lowes!!!!!! Thanks everyone!

Kitchenaid normal cycle light and cancel light both blinking. Dishwasher wont start

Hi,

Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.

Please do the following to reset the washer. Normally the clean light sometimes flashes and just needs to be reset. To do so hit the keys in the following order. <Heated Dry> <Normal Wash> <Heated Dry> <Normal Wash> <Cancel>.

The dishwasher will go through a cancel cycle (drain the tub) and will then let you start it up again

Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.

Clean light keeps flashing and will not start.

Try the follow key dance, all within 5 seconds push:

HEATED DRY --- NORMAL ---- HEATED DRY --- NORMAL

wait for about 2 minutes then hit cancel

The light on the buttons that say cancel and normal are flashing and the dishwasher won't turn on.

first thing to try is to disconnect power for 15 minutes and then try again if goes into default again take off bottom panel and behind the black trim will be a tech sheet see if it gives yousome diagonostics sounds like it may be the computer if the power off and on doesnt make it work,.

My normal cycle and cancel button lights are blinking on my kitchenaid dishwasher. Model # KUDP02CR8S2 Any suggestions?

Probably a keypad gone bad. Try replacing the keypad.

There is a troubleshooting guide behind the foot kick panel. It gives a sequence to test for a bad keypad. You can try that sequence to be sure.

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher--model #KUDS01DJ

On mine the "normal" light was the one that was flashing; after a cycling of the breaker switch in the electrical main panel and closing the washer door, it went to a 2 minute rinse before shutdown.

I cant get my dishwasher to turn on, i press the normal cycle and the light flashes 4or5 times and nothing happens, i've unplugged it and tried all of the cycles nothing works

Count the exact number of flashes prior to the pause - this is the error code necessary to diagnose the problem. What is the model number also?
