The card or the driver has failed. It's likely a driver issue. Try powering off the computer and restarting, if it doesn't happen again it could have been a temporary issue. If you haven't installed the latest drivers I would suggest going to nVidia's site (http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/77224/en-us) and install the latest drivers for your card. If you've already installed them, or if this occurred after updating the driver, I would suggest trying to rollback the driver to a previous version. This can be done in the Device Manager. From the Start Menu select Control Panel > Hardware and Sound>Device Manager. You will see a drop down list in the Device Manager, and you'll want to select Display Adapters and you should see your videocard. Right click the card and select Properties. Select the Driver tab and then select the button entitled Roll Back Driver and follow the prompts.

If updating or rolling back the driver doesn't help, it's possible that the videocard is failing and may need to be replaced.

Question about video Gigabyte GV-R575SL-1GLI: 1)Which modern drivers do you recommend: - official drivers (from gigabyte.com) for GV-R575SL 8.671 (date 26.11.2009 !!!) But why so ancient? - official...

Hello zy95:
Check here for updated AMD drivers: "CLICK HERE"
If link didn't work copy and paste this:
http://support.amd.com/us/psearch/Pages/psearch.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.43&contentType=GPU+Download+Detail&ostype=OS+Independent&keywords=&items=20

Looking at your manual I think it is the bottom DVI which is lined up with the HDMI and VGA connectors that is used for single monitor hookup.
By the way here is your manual for your card: "CLICK HERE"
Or copy and paste this in your browser:
http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/vga_manual_r575sl-1gi_e.pdf
I don't think your going to need to update your bios on your videocard but if you do it would probably be with the Catalyst software for your card.

If this helps don't forget to give the thumbs up a click.
Sincerely, Peter N.

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding how to fix this problem.

This problem can be caused by 2 things, a problem with ur nvidia drivers, or with ur nvidia hardware. When does this problem happen? if u cant even start windows, its a hardware problem(had it 1 month ago and had to replace my video card), if u can start windows normally but sometimes this happens, try downloading the last driver available for ur videocard.

Is DFI AK75-AL compatible with 128Mb/128 bit video card?

Yes, the DFI AK75-AL motherboard has a VIA KT-133A chipset which is compatible with a FX5200 videocard, but not at the full 8x AGP speed (as the videocards supports) but only at 4x AGP speed (maximum speed supported by the motherboard).

PS: Make sure you use the newest motherboard BIOS en VIA chipset drivers to ensure compability.

How much power does your power supply give? It could be that your power supply cannot take the power of your videocard. They say it is recommended to have at least 700watts of power with that videocard as it consumes a lot of power.

My computer dont act right, something is wrong with it but i dont know what

is your videocard onboard?? if its is, well theres something wrong with your motherboard especially on the video side, but if its not onboard, well try to check your videocard (its driver).

a general cleaning of your pc will do, and try to use an eraser to clean the pins of the videocard.

also check your monitor, if you have a spare pc, try to use that monitor and check if its ok.

as for your ethernet cable modem, try to check if your modem works properly (like power). and install the proper drivers for the modem.

Video card is giving me problems

Make sure the videocard is set in the slot. You should remove and reseat the videocard. Then go to: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp and download the latest video drivers from here and try installing them again. Old video driver can kill!!! Let me know what happens. Good Luck. Tim
