Question about Mitsubishi WS-48313 48" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Mitsubishi ws-48313 volume increase

Volume increases to maximum on Mitsubishi ws-48313 without any buttons being pushed. Pressing volume down button on remote does nothing nor does the mute button. Pressing volume down on the set will lower the volume, but as soon as the button is released the volume climbs to max again. This defect appears to show itself once the set is warmed up, also the picture has started to blink once the set has warmed up. Any thoughts?

Model #57733 - Volume will randomly increase without notice. Remote control no longer communicating. Have tried the reset button.

Hi,

the volume control is increasing randomly on it's own because the volume button on the TV is partially stuck in, that is why its coming up occasionally. This same thing may also happen to the remote control of the TV.

Use your find to rub the buttons on the buttons on the TV, especially the volume control button. Do same on the remote and most definitely problem should be solved.

Please give me a feedback if solution does not work for you.

Regards.

Seems like some type of control board problem. Remote will not work on tv, but works other devices. Manual controls are squirelly. Cannot change inputs. Can move to other inputs on menu but when I hit...

Thats a bad button on the front keypad of the tv . The remote does not work because the tv micro sees a button pressed all the time and never listens to the IR reciever . If you pull the front speaker grill off you will find connector ZF just below the keypad or just inside the access panel. If you do remove that panel don't touch anything else.Just follow the wires down from the keypad to connector ZF. Connector ZF is inline with the wires to the front keypad. Unplug it . Then remote will work like normal. Use it like that or have the front keypad buttons replaced.

Soyo Flat Screen TV Sound or Volume control is stuck

Hi deborah card, Lets first make sure your remote is not causing your problem, Look at the light (led) on the remote, is it lit and pulsing? If not you are having a problem with the control panel,  Have you recently cleaned your tv with a liquid? If so you will need to dry the panel with a hairdryer, unplug the power from the tv, put it on low heat and hold it about 6 inches from the panel for a few minutes. With the tv still unpluged press all buttons on the panel a few times then plug back in and try it.  Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution.   lone99star
