No audio on dvdvcr

I was given a Sanyo DVDVCR DVW 6100. However, they didn't include an owners manual and the Sanyo/Fischer web site doesn't have one listed probably because they no longer make this model. Anyway, I have a DirecTV satellite receiver. How do I hook up the audio? I've tried several variations and nothing works. The video plays but not the audio.

I just purchased a 40" polaroid hd tv and have a dvw-6100 I have tried to connect it with right and left audio and s-video. Only the dvd screen comes up and can't get vcr at all. Also there is no audio. What can I do to correct the problem?

i have tried to find this manual every weekend for two weeks, to no avail...

how do i find the phone number of sanyo/fisher to get the user manual for my dvw dvd model #dvw 6100...

certainly they would have a manual in their file somewhere... i would like one that also has the troubleshooting information.

How to hookup Sanyo DVW-6100 to a Sylvania tv

If the Sylvania tv is a CRT (old style tube tv) you can just use an RCA cable and hook it into the composite video. It will be the cable that has a red, white and yellow connectors on it. The yellow is the video, the red is the right audio and the white is the left audio. Connect ones side of this cable to the output of the DVD/TAPE player and to the input on the TV side.

DVD+R won't run on Sanyo DVW-6100

you need to burn the video on a memorex DVD-R disc and then it will play

Need a manual for DVW 6100

There doesn't appear to be an online manual for this particular model, but the instructions for the DVW 7100 should be similar. Below I have posted a link to download this manual.
