Question about Hampton Bay 24750 Huntington III Ceiling Fan

Hampton Bay Huntington lamp continues to blink when off

I have a 2 year old Hampton Bay Huntington Ceiling fan with remote control for the fan and integrated lamp. Recently the fan had become increasingly slower, so I changed the fan's remote control and a capacitor. Now the fan's speed is fine, but the lamp continues to blink dimly at a constant rate when I turn it off with the remote control.

with Hampton Fans,, normally if the remote is good with a known good battery , and it quits working,, its the remote receiver, not the actual remote that goes bad. you can contact these guys I heard they have the part you need http://www.ceiling-fans-n-more.com/hampton-bay-ceiling-fan-parts.php

Need remotes

In theory, they should. Try Hampton Bay first, and if not, check for aftermarket replacements. Those remotes are simple enough that there is no reason that they can't.

The dip switch is on the receiver box which is located inside the housing on the ceiling, inside the remote control, and inside the wall switch if you have a wall switch made to control the fan.  All must have the same dip switch settings.

Fan won't go on

It's probably the electronics inside the fan. They may need replacing. http://www.ceiling-fans-n-more.com/hampton-bay-ceiling-fan-parts.php
