Im not sure how to secure the back wheels. There is a small red rubber piece that was already attached to the rod, which i had to take off to put the wheel on and i put that on again after i put the wheel...

  • No, that is the piece. It is a lock washer of sorts. If it seems like it is a little loose this is because when these are pried off to access the wheel them little teeth inside the end cap get pushed in and don't hold like new. You can try taking a little screw driver and prying between them teeth to make it hold better but you may have to get a new one. The other option you have is you can epoxy it on and let it cure over night and that will hold.

I removed the tilt steering colum housing to instal a new cruise

The plastic piece goes between the steel rod and cruise/wiper lever. You will have to remove the wheel and the upper bearing housing to get it back where it goes. If you put some wheel bearing grease on it then it will stay in place during reassembly.. Good Luck

Can't Put Belt On

You have to remove the front of the dryer to
access the drum. First unplug the dryer. There are screws at the bottom of the front to remove the lower section. Once you remove that you can get to the screws for the door section. The front of the drum rides on the inside of the front panel so when you remove the panel the drum will drop down. Try to keep the drum in place with something to hold it up. Remove the old belt and place the new belt around the drum. Slid the belt back to where the belt used to ride and then loop the belt around the motor and the tension wheel. Make sure the tension wheel is tightening the belt. Hold up the drum and put the front panel back on. You may need a helper to hold things while you do this. Rotate the drum by hand and make sure it moves smoothly. Plug it back in and give it a try. I hope this helps. Any questions feel free to ask. Please rate me so I know if I'm Helping. Thanks.

Putting dryer belt back on

The piece you see is called the idler pulley. Here's a link to a good description of how to change a dryer belt. It should show you what you need to do set it all right.

Put the belt on the brush roll, place it in the nozzle, make sure the belt is in the center, turn the big knob on the front until it locks, then install the nozzle on the vac., turn the knob in the other direction, and it will be put on the pulley.
