Question about iRiver T10 MP3 Player
This T10 from start up goes to scan music file the shuts off and restarts. I hooked to my computer and the music files are still active. It works after disconncting from the computer. After shutting down it will duplicate this problem. Any thoughts?

Try to re-format it. on player go to settings, then advanced then format. select format, say yes and it should reboot. if that doesn't work you need to upgrade the firmware. got to iriveramerica.com, support, ultra portabale support and download firmware updater software. Not a bad idea to upgrade firmware in either case. Your music will be lost when you format but you can simply re-load it from your music manager on your PC.
