Question about Cell Phones
I had the same problem but yours may be more reasonable. I just didn't look in the instruction manual. It says to flip open the phone before turning it on. It worked for me. Hope that it worked for you, haha.

Check your battery- if it fell out, maybe you put it in backwards. That's what happened to me. It still seems like it's charging, but it's not.

battery may show fully charged while charging, but it can noot hold the charge. So you need a new battery. If under warranty ask Verizon for replacement.

SOURCE: my alias won't charge
Unfotunately, this is a common problem. The first thing you should do is take it to the Verizon store(or someone else with the same charger) and ask them to try a charger. Hopefuly you can just buy the new charger. If this isn't the case, and normally it isn't, you will have to buy a new phone or dish out the 50$ for insurance if you have it. The problem is that you broke the charge port in your phone. Samsung considers this to not be under warrenty. The Verizon store cannot do anything for you. Hope this helped.
