Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
"F21" is a Long Drain error. Its usually an indication that something is clogged in the drain pump and/or drain lines. The following link explains how to correct:
Now, your diagnostics procedures may differ, but the procedures for accessing and cleaning the pump are the same. It doesn't take much to damage the small drain pumps in these washers. If anything has been caught in the pump impeller or motor for any significant period of time, the pump may be running, but it may NOT be pumping anything. If you perform all procedures outlined in the link provided and the error code reappears, you will need to replace the drain pump.
If you need a replacement drain pump the following websites are great sources to obtain one - searspartsdirect.com, repairclinic.com and pcappliancerepair.com. Just type in your COMPLETE model number to begin your search. All three offer competitive pricing, so take a look at all three. These are the cheapest web sources I have found for appliance parts.
I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you require additional assistance.
