Question about Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer
Hi. I have the Whirlpool duet set. The dryer TYPE is DATA-ELE-2406028-EL54, MODEL #GEW9200ld0, serial # MM4219222. The dryer quit functioning completely. no light, nothing. Then twice over about two months it suddenly started beeping, we ran it for one cycle each time...it ran fine, and then went back to sleep. I got the repair manual and made all the electrical checks except the 'belt switch', and all were good. I ordered the electronic control board, PN8546219, and replaced it. All cables/wires are tight. NOW I get a constant 'control locked' beeping/flashing light, it wont clear with the procedure in the books. Before I throw it into the dump, can one of your Whirlpool tech help me? I'd be SOOOO grateful. Bill Hady
Find button with lock emblem hold 3-5 secs if will not clear suspect either bad interface(buttons ) or bad connection or broken wire between front panel and interconnect on main control
