We have multiple computers and sharing a wireless printer (HP LaserJet 1320 NW). All other computers can print from the printer except for our one computer, which all of a sudden quit printing or responding. The status on that particular printers says off line and we tried to trouble shoot it and could not activate it. We tried to restart it several times but it's not working. Pls. help. Thank you.

If you're running a Mac, when you try to install the LaserJet 1320, it may suggest that you use the driver set for "HP LaserJet 1320 Foomatic/pxlmono." Do not use those settings. I had to reinstall my 1320 recently and since it said that was the recommended choice, I selected it. If I printed just text, it worked fine, but even a tiny 50KB image would take 5 minutes to print. When I reinstalled it again, I selected the option "HP LaserJet 1320 series," and everything works just fine now.
YOUR PRINTER IS NOT SHARED ON THE NETWORK FIRST GO TO THAT COMPUTER WHERE IT IS INSTALLED AND GO TO "PRINTER AND FAX" OPTION RIGHT CLICK ON 1320N PRINTER THEN SELECT PROPERTY THEN SELECT SHARE OPTION AND CHECK THE OPTION "SHARE THIS PRINTER".
on your desktop go to printers and share your printer. then from your laptop go to printers click add new printer. then choose a network printer and click find or search to find the printer conencted on your pc. the pc has to be turned on in order to print
This problem is caused by Mopier Mode being enabled by default. The idea of Mopier Mode is to minimise computer and network traffic by sending only 1 copy to a printer equiped with suitable internal memory. That stored copy is then used to produce the multiple copies. Most HP Laserjets do not have suitable internal memory and so only the one copy sent by the computer gets printed. To disable Mopier Mode:
Click Devices and Printers
Right click your Laserjet Printer
Select Printer Properties
Click the Device Settings Tab
Scroll down to the bottom
If necessary, expand Installable Options
Click on Mopier Mode
Select Disable in the selection box that appears
You will now get multiple copies.
Windows may have eaten its baby again- that is, the driver for that printer.
Open the Control Panel, then Printers and Faxes, delete any listing for that model of printer, make sure the printer is on and connected, then reboot your system.
This will force Win to 'find' the printer and install an uncorrupted driver for it.
