I can't program the remote to work for my tv

Try these codes. Proceedings are given. Switch OFFthe set and Switch it ON, each time, and wait till the standby light at the front of the TV to OFF.

Codes to check are.
0079 0123 0063 0020 0004 0009 0226 0266 0006 0095 0122

Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
If you can't set up it by the above proceedings, just go to Code Search Method. If your remote have a code to synchronise your TV, code search method should work. If not, there is no hope.
    CODE SEARCH METHOD
    1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
    2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
    3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
    4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
    5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search

I need the code number of tv to enable me to use sky remote control

Please try 0863 for Hyundai Televisions To program your Sky remote control using the 4 digit code
  1. Switch on the TV set
  2. Press the TV button on the Sky Remote
  3. Hold down the Select and Red buttons for 2-3 seconds until the LED blinks twice
  4. Press the TV button on the Sky Remote again
  5. Enter 0863
  6. The LED should blink twice, if not recheck the 4 digit code used and go back to 1
  7. Press the standby button on the Sky Remote (The TV should go to standby)
  8. Press the Select button to store

If the TV does not go into standby press the TV button then the standby button, then TV then standby, keep repeating this until successful. This will scan the codes used for a particular make of TV.

Please keep me posted.

Thanks.

Sony Trinitron KD-28DL10U switched off suddenly to standby mid programme and won't come back on.When trying the remote on I can hear it click on and immedietly off again.Switched off at set and socket and...

Hello

In time as the Sony Trinitron ages it begins to have power issues. While this can be true of most tube televisions it's the rate and severity at which this happens to Trinitrons that makes it particularly of note. Many Trinitron owners have complained of the Trinitron set turning itself off randomly and frequently. Some sets have failed to stay on for longer than a few minutes at a time. Eventually some sets will not turn on at all. These problems grow more severe with age.

Check the power cable running from the Sony Trinitron 32. Make sure the cable is completely inserted into the power connection on the rear of the TV as well as the local power outlet.

Disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet, then plug it into a different connection. It is possible to electrical outlet has died, forcing you to obtain a power current from a different source.

Check the cable connection running from the cable/satellite receiver or VCR. If the TV is on but no picture is on the screen, the problem is most likely due to a connection issue.

Power off the cable/satellite receiver, then press the "Video" button on the remote control to switch the Trinitron 32 to the video input signal. Turn on the cable/satellite receiver and the programming now loads onto the television screen.

It keeps flashing between flashing lights regards

Hi.

The TV stays in standby because protection circuit kicked in.

Protection kicks in when an internal fault had been detected.

In your case the SCART cable may have caused a short.

When on protection the TV will stay in standby, will not respond to buttons or remote, and will not start up.
All higher voltages from PSU get shut down by controller board, and only the +5V remains on.

To attempt resetting the TV, disconnect all video cables, disconnect the power cord, wait about one hour and plug it back.

If TV does not restart, then there may be an internal fault.

In that case leave TV unplugged for longer, just in case.

If still no luck, then call Sony to discuss a repair. The number is listed on your owner manual.

If instead TV will restart, do not use the faulty video cable again, this can damage your TV.

Regards
