Where my head phone goes into the zen is not working. i was wondering if there is anywhere i might be able to send it to?..it goes all cracky during a song and the only way to sort of fix it, is by holding the headphones in tight, which is annoying..does anyone know if it is worth getting fixed?and where i might be able to send it in?

uhm my CREATIVE ZEN MX LCD connector and battery is broken,, and i want to fix it,,, bbut i cant find any creative service center here in the philippines, does any one know any repair shop who can repair my CREATIVE ZEN MX???
thanks for anyone who can help me find a repair shop for it ....
add me at face book and send me a message if you know one ^_^ thanx
if you don't have the kind of charger that goes directly into the dock connector, the zen vision needs a 5V charger ( it happens to be compatible with the PSP charger). if you just plug it into a usb cord it will not charger. you may also need the little white adapter piece the goes into the dock connector. i know only one place that sells older creative zen accessories and repairs creative zen visions . if you have all of that: i assume you pressed the little reset button on the bottom, it may just be frozen? if that doesn't work and you are sure you're charging it right, your logic board is dead.
Its only worth it for a 16GB or more. It costs $79.99 total to get a new screen installed. http://www.thegadgetdr.com/Creative-Zen-Repair-White-or-Cracked-LCD-Screen-p/rs-zen-lcd.htm
If this doesn’t work then I would send it back under the warranty....I will post a link to creative website that will give you 2 different ways to reset you Zen V MP3 player.... http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=9770 &
Was the battery close to dying? I know many screens that fail to be visible when the battery gets real low. If its not that, then yes the screen has died. Try connecting to the mains adapter and resetting it. If this doesn't
help then the screen has failed and you need to contact Creative
Support.
yes, there are places you can send it to get fixed. Scroll down on this page to the box on the right that says Repair Service. Put in your zip code. There are several services to choose from.
I've seen this problem quite a few times on the Creative Labs forum. I had a similar problem with my Zen Jukebox Xtra 60gb. My solution was to replace the hard drive and reload the firmware. Bingo! It works like new. If you feel adventurous do as I did. But if it's still under warranty then let Creative Labs fix it. Oh, by the way I got my hard drive for my Zen Xtra on eBay for $30.00. Also eBayers sell various troubled MP3 players for parts. A lot cheaper than if I had sent it in for repair.
