Probably you will have to buy an external battery charger that will charge the type of battery the HTC Wildfire is using. But if you upgraded to another HTC phone, maybe the new one is using the same battery as the Wildfire and then you can charge the old battery in the new phone and then use it in the old phone to transfer your contacts to the new phone.
The charging socket on you phone needs to be resoldered, OR the plug on the charging adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. To determine which is faulty, use a different charger and plug it into your phone and move the charging plug to see if the it quits charging. If it quits charging then the charging socket on the phone needs fixing (re-soldering).
Try to use or buy universal charger. Get your battery and charge it to universal charger. so that you can use your phone. This is the easy way so you can use your phone.
Hi, there are two things you will need to test for ,
The charger and the charging port.
The charger of the phone might not be contacting properly causes it to fail or loose contact, that might be the reason it needs to be position properly before it charges.
You can use another charger to see how firm it will on another phone, so that you can be able to know if you will need to replace the charger with another one.
The charger port is where you plug in the charger to the phone for the phone to be able to charge. Sometimes if the charging port is weak, itmight not be able to hold the charger properly,it will be failing contact.
Also you can use another charger to test with your phone and see how firm it holds on the phone and if it will charge the phone without failing.
I guess when you test for the charger and the charging port, problem will be solved.
There are three main things that could cause the problem. The battery, the charger and the phone. You need to carry out some tests to be able to tell which exactly is the cause of the problem and how to solve it.
First you need to check is the battery, insert it in another phone, then you try to charge the battery, if it charges, then it means the problem is from the battery, the solution to that is for you to replace the battery, but if it charges, then it means the problem is not from the battery.
Next thing to test is the charger, simply try to charge another phone using the charger. If it does not charges, then you know the problem is from the charger, but if it charges, then it means the problem is not from the charger.
Test the phone by using another charger on the phone to see if it charges, if it does not charge, then it means the phones connection port is bad and need to be replaced.
Hope this information helped.
Have you use another similar charger to charge the phone to see if it will charge? If you have and yet the phone did not charge, the problem could be from the phone charging port, you will need to replace the phone charging port befoire the phone can charge.
If the charging port i replace, the phone will charge.
Have you try to use another similar charger to charge your phone to see if it ill charge? because it could be that your charger is bad,. But if you have done that and it is same thing, it means the charging port of your phone is malfunctioning, that is why you have to use repetitive effort before it can charge.
Your battery is not charge due to the bad charging port of your phone, so your phone battery can not hold charge.
To resolve 1 and 2 problem of your phone, all you need to do is to change the charging port of your phone in other for your phone battery to charge and for your battery to charge.
Replace the charging port as said and you will see that your phone battery will charge.
For your screen, is it that the entire screen is black that you cannot see anything, not even text or see names from your contact? if it is, what you need to do is to change the flex on the the screen of your phone and you will see that your screen will display as you want it.
I suggest you try to use another charger to use another charger to charge your phone, if it does not charge, it means the charging port is bad and will need to be replaced.
You can also use your charger to charge a similar phone to see if your charger is not the problem, if your charger charges the similar phone, it means the charging port of your phone is bad and will need to be replaced.
Replace the charging port and your phone will charge.
First, you need to check to see if the problem is with the phone - the battery - or the charger.
If you have a car charger, try to charge the phone with it. If it works, you'll need to replace your home charger.
If the car charger doesn't charge the phone - you'll either need to replace the phones battery or your home charger. (Sometimes the battery will go bad if you use a car charger not made specifically for the phone.)
If you replace your battery and it still doesn't charge you'll need to replace your home charger.
If after you've replaced the battery and the home charger and it still doesn't charge - your problem is with the phone and it will either need to be replaced or repaired.
