Question about IOGear GKM541R Keyboard/Mouse
Are you sure that they are connected to each other? Try newer batteries. Press the connect button of the receiver for 2 secs and quickly press the connect button of the keyboard or press and hold the connect button of the receiver and the keyboard at the same time for 4secs do this steps over and over until it connects. Heres a tip the light on the receiver will blink onced pressed and if you press the connect button of the keyboard the blinking will stop which means that the receiver picked the keyboard out.... hope it helps

To isolate the problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Make sure to use fresh batteries for your keyboard.
2. Press the button on the mouse cradle (it is also the receiver for the keyboard and mouse) and the hold down the connect button underneath the keyboard.
3. Try to type.
1. Hold down the button on the mouse cradle and hold down also the connect button underneath the keyboard at the same time for 5 to 7 seconds and then release it.
2. Try typing...if same problem
3. Try replacing the battery or try connecting the mouse cradle into different USB port of the computer
