How do I delete songs from my sylvania smp2002 mp3 player?

You can't directly. You have to attach the player to a computer with the included USB cable and delete the files from there. If you're using a windows based OS, the player will show up as a USB drive within File manager.

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

Try this method:

Not enough knowledge to get songs onto mp3 player.

The songs are usually input on mp3 players via a USB cable, then you wire the cable to your computer and transfer your music files to its local folder, usually drag and drop or copy and paste. Try to find the cable, and then after downloading songs from like rhapsodymp3.com, you can transfer the audio files to its folder with the auto ~ play after you connect it to your pc. This should do the trick. :)

Deleting mucis off of sylvania smp1015 mp3 player

Plug it into a PC and navigate to the mp3 player and delete the song(s) you don't want. For some reason the Sylvania does NOT like certain USB 2.0 ports such as the ones on my VIA-based shuttle, but it works fine with USB 1.1 ports.
