Copystar CS-1500 Copier Problem

We had just replaced the toner because it said it was low and once we did that the copier stopped copying things. There are no errors that come up it just prints out blanks. How do I fix this? Thank you so much

    DaveAyre,

Thanks a ton for the help. We did remove the drum unit. What does reseating it mean? Just placing it back in position?

Did you remove the drum unit when fitting the toner? Try reseating it.

I have an error code C-7 980 on a Copystar 1500. What does that mean?

This is a drum related problem. The waste toner is full. Remove the drum unit, remove toner cartridge and unscrew 2 chrome screws on on the left side of the unit. empty the waste and screw back the screws. replace toner and put back in the machine

When copying a line prints on all copies

You likely have a scratch on your exposure drum. Try shaking your toner cartidge and blowing compressed air into all crevases. If this does not solve the problem you'll likely need to purchase a replacement exposure drum.

Shake the process unit from side to side
and turn the power switch off and then on.
If the problem cannot be solved, replace
the process unit.
After replacing the process unit, turn the
power switch off and then on. If the problem
cannot be solved, replace the waste
toner sensor or the engine board
