Question about Video Game Consoles

I purchased the More Brain Training 20th Nov 2008. I have been working through the test until I got to Days and Dates there is a fault with the software It will not recgonise the letters T and S and it will not recognise to digit 0 what do suggest I do.

If you are sure that the game is faulty, then take the game back to the store with your reciept and tell them of the fault, take your DS with you too as it would have saved the data up to that point on your DS to show them that it is faulty. They should replace the game, games are returnable if they are faulty.

Dr Kawashima's Brain Training-how do i reset profiles?


Hi,

To reset/ remove the profiles you need to load up the profile you wish to delete and then touch "other options" once there select "settings" and you will see the option to "erase personal data" select it and confirm the erassure by selecting yes.

Speech problems with brain training


it is true,

There are a few Speech recognitions with The first Game, as with any new voice recognition software there are flaws so im guessing it will be the game to blame, this does not meen that there are potential problems with your DS microphone, but the probability is that the problem lies with the poor voice recognition qualities of the game

Characters move to bottom right of touch screen by them selves.In brain training it does its own choosing... What should we do as it is only 10months old...


you will need to take oit back to where you purchased it, the touch screen is sticking, no way to fix it other than replace the screen.

I need to erase all data on my nintendo ds lite games as i'm selling it - any help please?


Your name and such are in the console. Remove the battery and this info is gone.

Your saved games, high scores and such are in the game catridge, and just about every game has the option of removing this data from the menu... somewhere... (they are all different).

N Card is not saving any games


i have bought one with 42 loaded on it but from the 1st day i got it one game didnt work (mario kart ds) but i have it already so not bothered but 2 weeks after another game won't load up wwe smackdown vs raw 2008 i also dont know how i can fix it!

What is the difference between nintendo ds and a n.ds lite?can i play brain training on a normal ds


The DS lite is and upgrade from the DS. The lite being slightly smaller has a brighter screen and supposed longer battery life. The Lite and DS share the DS library of games. So yes you can play the brain training on the Lite.

Try and buy the Nintendo DS Headset. I had the same thing, but I did that and it worked.

Won't honor warranty


Unfortunately, Microsoft has the final say on warranty issues. Speaking as someone who presently works at the customer service desk at one of the major retailers, it's not surprising that the store staff couldn't help you.

It's possible that the unit you have was sold once to someone else, then returned to the store and re-sold to you. If that's the case, Microsoft will say the warranty started the day it was sold the first time (even if the first owner never opened the box), since they get information from the retailer when they scan the serial number on the box at the time of sale. Also, I'm afraid it doesn't matter when the defect occured--what matters is when you call them; so screenshots etc. won't be a help in this case.

Try calling Microsoft again, but ask for a supervisor. Be polite, but insistent. Saying, "I know that your system says my warranty is expired, but I'd like to speak with your supervisor about that," might work. If they try a line like "but my manager will say the same thing," then respond with "I'm sure that might be true, but I'd still like to have him or her say it directly to me." Try to convince them to allow you to fax them a copy of the receipt with the accurate purchase date. If you can convince them that they're wrong, they'll probably make an exception to allow you to return it even though it's now well into December.
