There is a program on the installation CD called the Philips Device Manager - it has a Repair option. If you have lost the CD, you can get the Device Manager from Philips website.

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Whenever i connect my cam to my lappy it gets shut down,it was never happened before wen i was using my cam,but now it shows some message like " some serious problem occured with ur hardware usb...

As your message suggested, you have a hardware fault which means your camera is possibly faulty.
I would book it into a repair shop and get it fixed.
Hope that helps.

My Magellan RoadMate 1340 will power up to logo and "moving clock

Have you tried updating the software on your device.
Go to Magellan.com and download the Magellan Content Manger:
http://www.magellangps.com/products/map.asp?tab=0&PRODID=2216
Once you've installed Content Manger onto your PC, connect your device to your PC using the USB cord. The Content Manager will allow you to update your 1340 with the latest software and updates which 'should' fix the problem that you're having with your unit.

How do i fix the e 74 problem?

this is what that code means i dont think you will have much luck fixing it yourself tho: E74: I/O Hardware Error - HSIO related, could be crc error, or many things: There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. Microsoft covers this error under their 3-year warranty, this is availble to anyone who hasn't modified their console. contact MS to get a free replacement console before attempting to fix this yourself. Failing that this error In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement (see error 0102)

Player problem

Back up all the files on the GoGear and perform a Repair:

1) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) - if you don't see it, then re-run the installation CD or grab the "Device/Firmware Manager" from the Philips website
2) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
3) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off (if you haven't done so already) - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new.
