Trying to move photos from Apple Mac to Pandigital frame

The Mac does not seem to recognize the Pandigital picture frame when I connect it through the USB port.  I tried rebooting the computer while the frame is on.  The Pandigital says !USB Connected! but there is no icon on the Mac.
Do I need a driver?

I have the pandigital photo frame and when I try to connect it to my PC, my computer won't acknowedge it or show it on my control panel.

Me too. It will not show up on OpenSUSE Linux either, although a compact flash card works fine when plugged directly into the frame.

Its easiest to transfer the pictures to a usb drive or sd card and insert them into frame and copy them to the internal hard drive. Using Mac OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.2

Yes, has the frame got a card slot? if so use your camera as a (expensive) card reader. We brought a cheap keyring thing and found a driver by searching on line

Pandigital Photo Frame will not read MMC card

The new card is not compatible with your photo frame. Only thing you can do is to make sure that what you use is compatible. Your manual or website will tell you the largest memory card you can use.

What version of Windows is required to run Pandigial 7

the PANDIGITAL Pandigital 7" Digital Photo Frame is not computer dependent. you simply put the images you want onto a memory card and put the memory card into the frame. in other words, you can use it with any version of windows, mac, or Linux.

Pics from Computer to Pandigital

If you use iPhoto to put photos on the frame, you'll end up with a bunch of extra files on the frame that say "Unsupported Format". This is file management data added by iPhoto.

When you connect the frame via the USB cable, it should just appear as an icon labeled "Pandigital" on the desktop. You can just drag and drop your photos onto this icon.

What SD card do you have exactly? If its a SDHC this could be the reason for it not reading the pictures. Hope This helps!!

Wanted to erase a single picture, accidentally erased all. Now, computer not recognizing frame, asking me to format removable disk before I can use it. Unable to reinstall. Before, computer recognized...

Yes, that's because you have deleted the files. The frame will work just fine. You can can rename 'removable disk' to PANDIGITAL but it doesnt really matter.

All you need to do is copy the images and it will show up on the frame.
