This means there is a fault with the defrost system . It could be the timer , heater or thermal cutout. These need to be tested .

My LG washing machine is displaying DE when I go to start it and it beeps and blinks de

The DE error or fault code is to indicate that the door is not latching properly. Check the lid or door operation to be sure it's not binding and that the door alignment is correct. Also, check the door/lid hinges to be sure they're not binding. Finally, make sure the door catch is in place and not broken. You may need to replace the door hook/catch or the door lock assembly

Philips 50'' Plasma TV model 50pfp5332D/37 GREEN BLINKING ON LOGIC BOARD

Main digital processor IC on the board has damaged. It is not a replaceable part, as normal soldering techniques cannot be applied to de-solder it out from the board, or to solder a new one in place. Card base replacement should be done.

Reset de computer after change oil

On most models. you depress the trip reset and hold it down then turn the keyswitch to 'on' position. continue to hold while you watch the display where your miles normally show. SHould show dashed lines that blink. Example: first you see 4 dashed lines that blink, then 3 blinking lines, then 2 then 1, then nothing. That should do it.

I have a Sony KV-32HS420 projection TV. When you turn it on you hear a click and the sound comes on for an instant but the picture remains dark. The standby light then blinks 7 times and then repeats 7...

The TV clicks and shut down because an internal fault is detected. This cause the TV shutting down and going in protect mode.

To start ensure that you go through the basic troubleshooting illustrated here: Why my TV does not start up?

Basic troubleshooting consists in disconnecting the power cord for fifteen or twenty minutes. That will hardly fix the problem, but must be done.

If that does not work, 7 blinks means that there is an horizontal deflection problem.
This is usually caused by faulty convergence ICs. Both the convergence ICs located on the D board must be replaced. The Pico fuses located near to the ICs must also be replaced.
Job is done de soldering old components and soldering new ones on board. Better using soldering compound to do the job.

The ICs to replace are marked IC8002 and IC650. They are both MCZ3001D (power amps). The ICs must be de-soldered using a proper iron. The cost of each IC is about $15, the labor is about $100/$120.

If you want a quote on repair or if you want to contact a qualified technician ring the number listed on the owners manual or see Sony eSupport

How do I deregister my handsets on my VTech 2656

To be able to register your replacement handset, you must de-register all the handsets from the VT2656 base unit.

Follow the steps below to de-register your handset(s) from the VT2656 base:

1. Take out the handset that sits on the base.
2. Unplug power from the base.
3. Hold down PAGE while reconnecting power. When the In Use light blinks, release the PAGE key.
4. Hold down PAGE key for 5 seconds. When the In Use light begins to flash, release the PAGE key.
5. The handset charging light will blink 5 times. Within 5 seconds from when it stops blinking, press PAGE once.

You must register the handset(s) by following the steps below:

1. After charging the handset, remove it from the cradle, the LCD display will read "SEARCHING FOR BASE".
2. Press "NEW" and then enter the 15-digit Base ID code, located on the underside of the VT2656 base unit.
3. Press "OK". The handset will display "PLEASE WAIT!!".
4. Wait approximately 15 seconds. The handset will display "FOUND BASE". If the handset displays "BASE BUSY TRY LATER", this indicates that the system is in use. Wait until the base unit is in the idle (on hook) mode and repeat steps 2-4.

VTech 5.8 mhz won't work

I found a solution that fixed this problem (at least for me). On the vtech site they said to unplug the base unit for at least 5 minutes. Previously, I had only unplugged the base unit for a few seconds. This time, I left it unplugged for about 10 minutes or so and when I plugged it back in, everything was working fine. Apparently there is some sort of capacitor that must discharge long enough to completely remove power from the circuitry.

Good luck and I hope this works for you!
