Question about Technics SL-1210 Turntable
I was replacing the target light and when i turned the deck over i accidently turned it on and the wires tuched and now it does not turn on or play. i have replaced the plug fuse and both the internal fuses from my other deck but the deck does not turn on or play still.
Problem is not the fuses, but the power supply / power transformer has blown. This is why you should always wrap exposed wiring with electrical tape or heatshrink tubing.
The power supply can be purchased HERE, but this is not an easy replacement. And if you blew it by not properly replacing the Pop-up light, than I DON'T suggest you try to replace the power supply on your own either. You could really cause even more damage, and possible harm to yourself and your property.
