Xd70u upside down image no remote how to control with PC
My office has a xd70u projector. Previously ceiling mounted so it was upside down and the image rotated to be right side up. no one can find the remote. the manual states you can control the projector with a PC but I have no clue how to do this. They want to use the projector for something else and I need to rotate the image.

Try the menu feature, then installation, image reverse until it gets to the correct position. Note, the Image Reverse rotates in quarters. You can also access the Menu feature from the projector. It just happened to me and as I was looking for answers and playing around with it, I fixed it!

There are projection mode settings which will allow you to adjust the orientation of the image. Adjusting this setting will rotate the image so that it is not displayed upside down when attaching the projector to the ceiling.
To activate this setting:
Press the Menu button on the projector.
Using the Arrow buttons, select the Image icon on the left side.
On the Image screen under the Projection label, select the icon that represents ceiling mounted projection. Note:You may see both front and rear ceiling mounted projection modes. You may choose which ever best suits your needs.
Press Menu on the projector controls to exit the settings menu.
Hi, Your projector is probably set for ceiling mount which will project an upside down image because the projector is normally mounted upside down when installed on the ceiling. Go into the menu and select extended then select projection then select front. That should return the image to right side up.
Go to Menu> Extended> Projection> select Front ( to project from the front of the screen ).Front/Ceiling ( If the projector is mounted upside-down from the ceiling ). Rear ( to project from behind onto a transparent screen ).Rear/Ceiling ( to project from behind when the projector is mounted upside-down from the ceiling ).
what projector u have? i know there is a manual button for the menu on the unit.. press that one and go to settings you have enabled the ceiling settings for projection you to disabled that one to return back to tis normal state
Hit the menu/select button to bring up the menu either on the projector or on the projector remote then go down until advanced is highlighted then press the menu/select button then move down until Ceiling Project is highlighted and hit the menu/select button again to get the image right side up. If you have the manual for the projector this information can be found on page 34.
