I got it smoking

I must of applied to much power because i got it smoKing i'm trying to find the blue prints of the jensen A600HLX or even the parts list for then i can relpace the ones that were ruined if you could send me a copy of the parts list or blueprints or both that is much help

Have a 2002 magna 3.5l blowing smoke when idling and when I rev it it gets worse its white smoke my brother said it has a slight tint of blue but I couldn't see it


White smoke burning coolant blue smoke is burning oil. Check radiator for oil coolant mixture if so bad you have a blown head gasket or cracked block

Why is my 2000 kia sephia blowing blue smoke from the tailpipe. it has 86,000 miles. the check oil warning light is on even though the dipstick reads full.


The most common cause of blue exhaust smoke is oil leaking past engine seals and into the cylinders where it then mixes and burns with the fuel. This is most frequently seen in older or high mileage cars with worn seals and gaskets. It only requires a very small amount of oil leaking into the cylinders to cause excessive blue exhaust smoke.

Blue exhaust smoke only at start-up can indicate worn piston seals or damaged or worn valve guides which may also cause a rattling noise. An external engine oil leak can drip onto hot engine and exhaust parts causing what appears to be blue exhaust smoke. Other possible causes of blue exhaust smoke include: piston wear, worn valve seals, a dirty or non-functioning PCV valve, worn piston rings, an intake manifold gasket leak, worn engine oil seals and possibly even head gasket failure.

Oil leaking into the cylinders can cause a rough idle, misfire and fouled spark plugs. In addition, a reduction in power and oil loss can be indicators that the blue exhaust smoke is caused by an internal engine oil leak. Internal engine oil leaks can also allow fuel to mix with the oil in the crankcase which will degrade the oil and prevent it from adequately protecting the engine.

Operating a car with a severely dirty oil filter, air filter or improperly functioning PCV valve can also sometimes result in engine oil blow-by, oil loss and blue exhaust smoke. Periodically checking the engine oil level with the oil dip stick will indicate if there is excessive oil consumption. Higher viscosity engine oil can sometimes temporarily reduce the amount of blow-by; however, this is not generally recommended. Excessive blue exhaust smoke indicates a possible internal engine oil leak that should be inspected by an ASE certified mechanic.

Blue smoke is usually the result of burning oil. It should not be burning at all, as it shouldn't be entering the combustion chamber or leaking on or in anything in a properly operating "4 stroke" (or 4 cycle) engine. Blue smoke in exhaust is not a normal condition for a properly operating "4 stroke" or "4 cycle" engine.

When the choke is on, the mixture of fuel and air is brought from "Stoichiometric" (about 14.7 parts air to 1 part gasoline or a "14.7:1 ratio") to a more "rich" mixture (about 13:1). This is not the ideal mixture to run, but it makes it easier for the engine to start and stay running until warmed up. When the mixture is rich, is is not uncommon to see black smoke - which happens because of incomplete combustion in the engine. The balance of the combustion happens in the exhaust system, where the energy in the fuel is converted only into heat and zero power. Since there is little air in the system, black smoke is produced. It may even smell of raw gasoline, too.

When running at proper mixture ratios of fuel to air, little if any smoke should be observed in the exhaust gases. It is possible that this small amount of oil being burned is so minute that it is not readily visible under these conditions - but is probably present never the less. You should carefully monitor the engine oil level and keep it filled. Oil leaking in the combustion chamber can indicate a problem that can be expensive to repair.

Two cycle (or two stroke) engines on the other hand, require that the oil and gasoline be premixed in the tank or are blended together "on the fly" and for this reason is not unusual to see blue smoke in the exhaust gases even when unchoked.

How should i run my Jensen A600HLX Amplifier if i am using it to power 2 10inch Rockford P1 Subwoofers?


U need to check the impedance of your woofers .If they are 4 ohm i would reccomend hooking them in series, which is the positive output of your amp will go to the positive of one woofer, the negative of that woofer goes to the positive of your other woofer and the negative goes to the negative output of the amp.If that amp is bridgeable this will give u a good bass and the impedance will be 8 ohm so your amp will run cool and stable

No. The amplifier gets its signal from the RCAs connected to the "input" jacks, but the "output" jacks are just there to make it easier to add another amplifier. You only need to connect the inputs for the amp to work.

These solid state amps have no user serviceable parts inside them as everything is soldered into place and your gonna need to know how to use a multimeter to trouble shoot the parts inside the amp on the printed circuit board. Sorry But without the proper training and the right tools you could cause more damage to the amp if you dont know what your doing. You cannot just open the unit and see whats bad. You must test each suspected bad part and replace it as needed. You should take the amp in to have a pro look at it, as there is no easy fix on these unless its an external fuse, and a fuse will very rarely blow all by itself. Good Luck
