You can't fix it without replacing the whole mainboard which is pointless, but you can still transfer files via a SD memory card.

I HAVE AN ACER CE-5330 CAMERA BUT DONT HAVE A LEAD TO CONECT IT TO MY COMPUTER WHERE CAN I GET ONE FROM?

Consider getting a card reader instead.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Hello my friend,
The easy way to upload pictures to your computer is by taking out the memory card and inserting to your computer directly.
i guess that it's an SD card, so most of the new laptops has this slot. otherwise you can by all-in-one memory cards reader which is very cheap.

Will not power on.

The most common fault on a piece of kit that has been dropped is that the solder lead will snap on the heaviest component. Usually the battery or a capacitor, resoldering will fix the problem. However disassembly is the difficult bit

Won't down load

Just use a memory card and a generic USB memory card reader. The cord system is a bad idea for any camera.

Please help me

Most software programs for cameras, require you to load the software or part of the software first and follow the on screen instructions for when to add you camera lead to the computer. Otherwise windows may pick the camera up as new hardware and if it does not have the correct driver for it in its database it will not install correctly.

Uninstall the software program again, going to Control panel>add/remove programs and remove it from your system.

Insert the disk again - not the camera lead, and follow the instructions on the screen. It may ask you if you are connecting with a usb lead then give you further instructions. If you have more than one usb port available, when asked to insert the lead insert it into a different usb port to the one you have used previously, just in case windows has left behind some registry files that will conflict the installation.

Also check that the software you are loading onto your computer is compatible with your version of windows. (It should say one the disk).

I use a SD card in my camera and then insert the card into the card reader on my PC..saves all the messing around with software etc..., if you do not have a card reader on your pc, you can purchase a portable one that plugs into your usb port they are relativley cheap.

I hope this helps

You are using the incorrect lead, this is to connect to TV To connect the camera to a PC you need to use the USB lead. What is the operating system of your computer?
