This problem ibecomes apparent when using device with remote & docking station from a distance , very difficult to select required music . i hope this is easily solved as i am very happy with the device for the rest . That's because it's really wrong. If you have the correct album artwork saved on your computer, this is the way to fix it.
1. Open iTunes.
2. Select Music.
3. Right-click on the song with incorrect album artwork.
4. Select "Get Info" to open the song properties.
5. Select the "Artwork" tab, which happens to be the last tab.
6. Delete the wrong artwork that you see there and replace it by clicking "Add..." button and locating the correct artwork from your computer.
Another way of replacing it is to open the correct album artwork (from your computer), right click on the image and select "Copy". and then go back to song properties on iTunes and paste it by clicking CTRL-V (control, then V) from Windows keyboard or Command-V (command, then V) from Mac keyboard.
7. Finally, click the "Ok" button to save your changes.
BTW, you can also modify the song title, and the lyrics from the song properties.
I hope that solves your problem.

Click on "Advanced" which is found at the top of the screen. Select "Get Album Artwork" from the drop down menu. It will ask you "Are you sure you want to get album artwork?" Hit "Get Album Artwork". Before you do that, you can select "Don't ask me again" if you don't want this to pop up in the future.
Wait until it is done searching for the artwork. A window will pop up saying that it either found all artwork or they didn't. If they did, then great, your done, plug in your iPod and start jamming. But if they didn't, you can still jam away, but check the song title, album name, artist, and genre to see if you got it typed in correctly. Type in what they are supposed to be and try again.
If they still can't find it, then you can add them manually. Look at the link below to find out how to do it manually.
If Itunes wont find the art work:
Find the artwork for the album on the internet. Try using Wikipedia. Click on the artwork to get a larger image. If you can't find it there, I'm sure you can find it using Google images. Anyway, once you find it drag it to your desktop. Make sure it is on there before you continue.
Next, you need to highlight the songs that are in the album you are getting artwork for. To highlight multiple songs, click on the first song and then while holding the shift key click on the last song. To highlight multiple songs that aren't grouped together, click on all the songs while holding the command key on a Mac and ctrl key on a PC.
Now go to "File" then "Get Info". A window will pop up asking you if you want to edit multiple items. Click "Yes". Another window will pop up labeled "Multiple Item Information". You will notice a box on the right hand side of the window that says "Artwork". Click and drag the artwork that is on your desktop into that box. It should appear there. When it does, select "Ok".
When it is done processing, plug your iPod into the computer, sync it, and take your iPod out to start listening to your improved music.
Go to the sytem Settings menu and go to this option:
Display Art in Lists
Enabling this feature displays a small image of the song album cover, audiobook
cover, and photos when scrolling through list of these items.
1. Scroll down to Display Art in Lists and select it.
2. Use thumbwheel to switch between On (enable) and Off (disable).
If changing this option to enable fials to resolve the issue, the solution is a bit painful: You will have to manually add the artwork to each single song within an album in Windows Media Player 11, delete the song that is missing the artwork off your sansa, and re-add the songs again after you are done manually ediitng the artwork.
Manually add album art (WMP 11) 1. Run WMP. 2. Click Library on the top bar. 3. Select and right-click the file(s) you wish to update and select Advanced Tag Editor. 4. Click the Picture tab, then click Add. 5. Navigate to the image you wish to use for album art then click Open. 6. Click Apply then OK.
Also here, try to Manually put the files in the music folder.
So dont sync, but copy and paste. You need the option USB set to 'PC Hard Drive' in settings -> system. Let me know if it worked, because I have bad memories if it comes to sync, so I don't use that anymore. On my way it works fine, don't know if that's the case on yours.
3. Copied update to root of archos drive and rebooted
4. Archoes installed the update and rebooted and came up to desktop again
5. reinstalled plugins (thank god I saved them) copied plug-in to root.
6. Back on the road again
if you have the actual cd it is suppose to put the cover on your computer and then you can load it to your device but if you are getting the information or tracks off a music program like limewire or something it will not always have the album cover the same goes for a made cd you cant always get the album cover
