Question about Transcend T.sonic 610 MP3 Player

Solve this as soon as possible

I was charging my Transcend through the USB port on my computer and after i removed it its not starting i.e i am unable to switch it on. If you could help me to solve this out

    hi, i am not able to power on at all, i thought it was a charge problem, so connected it to the USB of my computer, however, it still does'nt power on..... Please Help!!!!!!!!

    similar problem....My player would show " initialising" and then just hang. Only pushin the reset button would help switch it off! or alternatively is there any place that i can give to to get it fixed.. if the problem fix is beyond me? someplace in Mumbai or Goa( INDIA)

    would be really helpful!

It is very simple if your T Sonic 610 do not responde as usual install the cd in your computer and click start on your pc then programme- accessories-transend t sonic fireware update and follow the full process as directed . you can solve this problem by updating firmware . for more details download goto transendusa.com and download english manual from http://www.transcendusa.com/Support/DLCenter/Manual/TS1GMP610-EN19.pdf ....that is all of it

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows
Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the
default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to
http://www.transcendusa.com/ and download the firmware updates for the T.sonic.

    Then you have a hardware issue, and the player needs to be replaced. As I have told others before, the "inappropriate" rating is designed for people who write "f--- you" or some childish gibberish. i at least offered a solution, that has been known to work with other Tsonic players. you should have at least given me a "thanks for trying" sheeseh!

My Flash drive light flickers and the flash drive is not been detected. Plese help me


The computer is trying to access the flash drive, the light indicates the there is at the very least some activity. What you will need to do is try this flash drive in another computer or try all available USB ports on your computer. Use the USB ports at the rear of your computer as it is possible that the front ones are not making proper contact.

If the problem persists it is possible that the flash drive has malfunctioned. You will then need to claim warranty support. The data may be recovered from the drive. A format of the drive may solve the problem however once done the information stored on the drive will be lost.

Sometimes when a flashmemory stick or USB external hard drive fails because it was not removed fromthe USB port properly. If the device is removed byjust pulling it out of the USB port, it can cause the flash device to fail, youmust click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the Task Bar and select thedevice you wish to remove and only do so when instructed to do so When the flash memoryUSB hard drive device appears to malfunction it maybe possible to restoreit by reformatting it. Insert the flash or USB hard drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - AdministrativeTools - Computer Management - Disk Management. Then right click on Disk 1removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted itwill indicate that it is Healthy. You need to format the flash or external drive. Format thedrive as primary drive and in FAT32. (FAT32 will allow data to be exchangedbetween MACs and PCs also between XP/Vista and earlier versions of Windows). Otherwise format the USB flash drive in NTFS.

My transcend 500GB hard disk just rotates when inserted to the USB Port it is not read by the computer. I have inserted the two pins into the respective ports but to no avail.


Try swapping connections to all possible USB ports on your PC/laptop. It could be a port problem. You can also test this by plugging a thumbdrive/mouse into those ports to check if it's fine.

If the above does not solve it, it could be a cable/casing problem and needs to be replaced. Just check to make sure it's not an internal hard disk problem before replacing the cable or casing.

My W995 has not been charging for a while now, i have at least 3 chargers and my brother also owns a sony ericsson phone and the chargers work on his phone. Now i have to charge it through a usb on a spare...


Hi,
The problem you are facing with the phone is definitely not from the charger but rather from the phone itself,
The charging port is worn out,hence its unable to transmit power into the phone mechanism,which makes the phone unable to charge.
The solution is to replace the charging port of your W995 phone,this will definitely solve your problem,

I have a 2GB scandisk pendrive, I unable to format it, Whenever i tried to format it in command. Msg appered IOCTL call error. how can I format it. Pl help me


Try formatting the flash drive using this method.

TRANSCEND PEN DRIVE WHEN CONNECTED TO THE USB PORT POP-UP MENU DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN PLS REPLY


There are two possible reasons either your pen drive is not functioning or the auto play is disabled.

First of all check whether the Pen Drive is listed on my computer as a removable drive. If so then do the following steps:

1) right click on the properties and select "Auto play" tab.
2) On the dropdown choose mixed content.
3) Under "Actions" select "prompt me each time to choose an action" button.
4) Apply and OK

Now remove your Pendrive and reconnect.
This should solve your problem.

If your Pendrive doesnt show up on my computer there can be two reasons. either the USB port you are connecting is faulty . try a different USB port. or your pendrive is faulty which needs replacement....

If you have a USB port on the back of computer plug it in there. Or use USB extension if it is uneasy for you to plug your pen drive from time to time. From there you can hook up your pen drive much easy.

open control panel..go to system..device manager..usb is usually at the bottom..remove them all, and then scan for hardware changes..should do the trick..
