Hey Any chance you have the Acoustimass 15 II or III? The first Acoustimass 15 has a switch. The II and II models turn off and on when it receives a signal from the source you are using. Amplifier, ect. All you need to do is make sure everything hooked up correctly and plug it in.
on the am 6 by bose you have to use all the supplied cables or you will blow them. the way it works is that all the speaker signal/power from the denon goes directly to the sub, then the sub sends the signal to each speaker. if you do this correctly the sub takes what it needs and sends the rest to the smaller speakers. and you wont blow them unless you hook them directly to your reciever.
I have the acoustimas systrem and the speakers do need the sb. That's the heart of the system.
I dropped my two front cubes and neither work. If you would be willing to sell yours at a reasonable price I would be willing to buy.
Please contact Bose customer support and I believe they will tell yiou the same thing.
I have the same speakers - and, system. I have a few comments. I don't think you can do what you want. This stuff is all specfic to bose. Man, they really don't want you using anything else. Question for you, I need one of those speakers - as, one of mine broke...I would love buy it from you if you don't use them any more. Let me know. email@example.com 630-723-7391 my name is Rocky
