I am trying to setup my router model wbr 1310, with password protection. but when i come to the ip address and static ip address i cant go any further, help

Hi, There. You should try to reset the router. There's a small hole in the back that you must press with a needle or something similar for about 30 seconds. After all lights turn off and back on, your password should be the factory's original, usually Admin as username and no password.

Good Luck!

I have a D-Link WBR-1310 router, that I need to set up on my new computer, but I have misplaced by Install CD, How do I set the router up

Go to http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310

and select the data you want. The software is down loadable. make sure that your router is not a B or C version as the one shown is just for the WBR-1310. It also has setup instructions if you want to learn to do it your self rather than default to setup software.

I need to reinstall the driver for dlink but cant find the disk is there any free driver download site?

you should not need a CD to use the router - Routers do NOT need drivers. All the CD would do is set up the router - which you can do manually The product manual is available here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310 goto the setup section where it explains how to setupthe router manually

Press in and hold the reset button on the back of the router. Connect directly with a patch cable and configure your wireless settings by typing 192.168.0.1 in address bar. Download the manual here:

My router (d-link WBR-1310) keeps dropping internet every 10-15

Try to access the configuration page of your router and look for channel number. Change the channel number to 11 or 13 whichever is available. It should work fine after that. If it still does not work, you can hard reset it by pressing the reset switch on the router. However, then, you will have to configure all the settings again.
